PrivateFly completes its integration with Skyjet
Ramping up its global presence and offering, on-demand charter broker PrivateFly has completed its integration with Skyjet, with the two companies now operating as a single entity under the PrivateFly brand, within Directional Aviation’s OneSky portfolio.
PrivateFly is now doubling in size as it moves to the forefront of digitally-led charter in both North America and Europe. It is now OneSky’s singular on-demand offering for private jet travel, sitting alongside fractional ownership provider Flexjet and jet card market-leader, Sentient Jet.
The integration has brought together PrivateFly’s US and European teams, together with Skyjet’s US sales team, primarily based in Boston as well as other locations across the US including New York and Dallas. At the helm of the larger entity is PrivateFly’s leadership team, headed by CEO Adam Twidell, a former Royal Air Force pilot who co-founded PrivateFly in 2008.
PrivateFly’s restructured USA sales team will be led by Michael Hall, who becomes Senior Vice President of Sales, following ten years with Skyjet and Sentient Jet. Directional Aviation acquired Skyjet in 2014, with PrivateFly’s acquisition announced in September 2018.
