The Classique Calendar 7337 joins the current Breguet collection.

Breguet has long been the timepiece choice of artist, politicians and nobility. Napoleon Bonapart owned three pieces from the Swiss luxury watch, clock and jewellery manufacturer – a significant endorsement if there ever was one. Breguet is all about combining modern style while retaining the strong codes that have forged the brand’s history. And now, the Classique Calendar 7337 joins the stable.

CLASSIC STYLE

Although the Swiss watchmaker does have a ‘modern’ Type XX collection, its best known for creating timeless timepieces that are contemporary without compromising the House’s aesthetic origins. The new Classique Calendar 7337 features the brand’s various decorative skills throughout, with Its off-centered dial adorned with a very fine Clous de Paris hobnail guilloché pattern hand-engraved on a rose engine by the in-house artisans.

The moon phase at 12 o’clock features fine, sandblasted clouds and a hand-hammered gold moon on a lacquered blue backdrop. At certain angles, stars can be seen shimmering in the blue dial, adding to the Classique’s subtlety.

Traditional blued steel open-tipped Breguet hands indicate the hours, minutes, and seconds – day and date are placed at the 2 and 10 o’clock positions.

CLASSIQUE COLLECTION

A true icon, the 2022 Classique 7337 can trace its roots back to Abraham-Louis Breguet’s original designs, where he invented and initiated the neoclassical style in watchmaking. His early pieces featured open-tipped hands, the guilloché pattern and the off-centered dial. Today, the 7337 is available in 18K white or rose gold, fitted with a strap in midnight blue (white gold model) and a mysterious brown for the rose gold version.
