AMAC AEROSPACE EXPANSION
AMAC Aerospace AG are proud to announce that we have won additional land that will enable us to further expand our services and capabilities to our existing and potential new clients from our Bodrum (BJV) facility.
Through a process of tendering, AMAC Aerospace worked tirelessly with the ‘General Directorate of State Airport’ authorities to secure more land, with up to 32’000m2 of space to house wide body hangars, a number of admin and technical support facilities and to be situated at the apex between Europe and Asia.
Construction plans are being drawn up and work on the new facilities will start immediately. Hangars, offices, refurbished aprons, infrastructure to working areas and technical shops are all planned to be housed in one location. Stemming from the intricate operations that we have established in Basel, will ensure that clients can bring their assets to AMAC and have all related working procedures carried out from a ‘one stop shop’. Present capabilities cover both Airline and Business Aviation activities in Maintenance. The construction phase will take approximately 2 years to complete with full operations expected to start thereafter in 2026.
AMAC Aerospace’s Group Executive Chairman and CEO, Mr. Kadri Muhiddin stated ‘AMAC Aerospace are delighted to have been awarded this land by Bodrum/Milas Airport authorities and we thank the ‘General Directorate of State Airport’ authorities to have granted this allowance to us which will reflect in a strong social and economic benefits to the Bodrum area.
AMAC Aerospace’s General Manager for Bodrum, Mr. Mustafa Yilmaz states ‘With the new land acquisition we will have more opportunities to serve more clients in the world of Maintenance and for this region. We look forward to expanding ‘Swiss Excellence in Aviation’ to AMAC Aerospace Turkey.
