DASSAULT: NEW MRO AT SAO PAULO’S CATARINA
Dassault to Establish New MRO at Sao Paulo’s Catarina Executive Airport.
Dassault Aviation is set to move its Sao Paulo service centre from its current facility at Sorocaba to the recently opened Catarina International Executive Airport. With easy access to the capital (only 35 minutes by car from the main Business Districts), Catarina International Executive Airport is the ideal location for Dassault’s new service centre.
Set to open in early 2024, the Catarina facility will offer nearly 40,000 square feet (3,600 square metres) of floor and office space and accommodate up to five Falcon aircraft at a time. It will also be large enough for the new ultra-long-range Falcon 10X, which is currently in development.
Finally, the location will continue to support an AOG ‘Go Team’, trained to provide rapid mobile response directly to any aircraft location in South America, along with the parts and tools necessary to get a Falcon back in the air flying with minimal delay.
