DUBAI AIR SHOW
The DWC site attracted record-breaking attendance numbers, marking another successful event.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the 18th edition of the Dubai Air Show attracted huge footfall through the gates of the DWC, Dubai Airshow Site. Business visitors from across the globe came to meet the representatives from over 1,400 world-class exhibitors from more than 95 countries as well as aircraft from Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, Dassault Aviation, Embraer, Gulfstream, and Pilatus.
Networking was also a major part of this year’s event, as visitors were able to build invaluable connections with thousands of industry peers over the five days of the show.
For those wanting to listen more than talk business, the show’s conference speakers also covered a variety of content based on current themes and future trends, including sustainability, passenger experience, advanced aerial mobility, airworthiness, and next-gen leaders.
Next edition: The Dubai Air Show will return from 17-21 November 2025
In line with the show’s localisation theme, day two saw the signing of an agreement between Airbus and Mubadala to provide engineering internship opportunities for Emirati senior university students. A total of 12 Emirati senior engineering students will be hosted at the Airbus headquarters in Toulouse over the next three years, where they will perform their internship under the supervision of Airbus experts and specialists.
AAM was another key part of the event and once that has seen huge growth over the last couple of Air Shows.
Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) was another key part of the event and once that has seen huge growth over the last couple of Dubai Air Shows. Here at the AAM pavilion, ANRA Technologies unveiled its Vertiport Management System (VMS), a major innovation for managing Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) Urban Air Mobility (UAM) aircraft at vertiport facilities.
This web-based platform addresses the growing demand for digital solutions in autonomous VTOL aircraft operations, ensuring safe and efficient vertiport services by coordinating real-time data exchange.
It wasn’t all networking and business though, as there was a flying display everyday from 2:00pm – 5:00pm, showcasing aircraft from across the range from airliners to fighter jets.
