IRISH TRADE MISSION TOUCHES DOWN IN UAE

Ireland’s Deputy Prime Minister Leo Varadkar led the recent Irish Trade Mission to the Dubai Airshow with the aim of bringing together Irish businesses with local partners to discuss the latest developments and innovations in the aviation sector.

“The United Arab Emirates is an important trading partner for Ireland which year after year has seen exports by Irish companies growing substantially, commented Varadkar. “Last year, as the world was disrupted by the pandemic, Irish exports to the UAE grew by 12 percent which is a clear sign of the value placed on Irish goods and services.” Varadkar concluded: “Dubai is a consumer-focused economy with a wealth of opportunities for both Irish and Emirati interests to work together.”
